Terms of Service

Effective 21 September 2026 · CareSync Family, operated by Piedmont Accounting.

By creating an account you agree to these terms.

• 1. What CareSync is. A shared record of medication, appointments and family

updates. It sends a text reminder at the times you configure and records the reply.

• 2. What CareSync is not. It is not a medical device, not a monitoring or alarm

service, not a substitute for a clinician, a caregiver, or an emergency service, and

it does not guarantee that any medication is taken.

• 3. Your responsibilities. You must have permission to enter another person's name,

mobile number and health information, and to have reminders sent to them. Enter

medications and times exactly as prescribed. Do not rely on CareSync alone for

anything urgent — call emergency services.

• 4. Emergency situations. CareSync is not monitored around the clock. In an

emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number).

• 5. Accounts. One account per person. Keep your password private; you are responsible

for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts used to spam, to send

reminders to people who did not consent, or to break the law.

• 6. Text messages. Reminder texts are operational messages, sent to the number you

enter. Recipients can stop them at any time by replying STOP.

• 7. Free and paid plans. The free plan is described on the pricing page. Paid plans

are billed as agreed in writing when you request them; we do not store card details.

Prices may change with notice; a change never applies retroactively.

• 8. Availability. We aim to keep the service up, but we do not promise uninterrupted

service, and we may pause it for maintenance.

• 9. Your data. You keep ownership of everything you enter. You grant us permission to

store and process it to run the service. You can export or delete it at any time.

• 10. Liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you is

limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are

not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits rights you have

under consumer law that cannot be limited.

• 11. Ending it. You can delete your account at any time. We may close an account that

breaches these terms.

• 12. Governing law. The laws of the operator's place of business apply; disputes go to

the courts there.
